The Role
Cleaners play a vital role in maintaining a safe & hygienic environment for patients, their whanau, and staff. As a Cleaner, you will do something you can be proud of every day, ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone within our hospital.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will work across both Waitakere Hospital and North Shore Hospital as required, following duty lists and safety protocols as well as instructions for specialised cleaning equipment. You will also engage in mandatory staff training sessions (may include operating floor care machinery).
Requirements
- Good command of verbal and written English
- Respectful and courteous towards patients and colleagues
- Reliable and available to pick up shifts at short notice
- Motivated to engage in mandatory staff training sessions
- Able to follow duty lists and safety protocols
- Flexible and able to adapt to unexpected changes
