About the Role

Tangram is seeking a highly skilled Consent Process Coordinator to join their team. As a Consent Process Coordinator, you will review consent recommendations and provide technical planning support.

You will support RMA-related processes, including hearings and Environment Court proceedings. You will also contribute to integrated planning solutions and service improvement projects.

In this role, you will work closely with the Planning Policy team to ensure alignment between policy and consenting processes. You will deliver a customer-focused pre-consent lodgement service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing consent recommendations and providing technical planning support.
  • SUPPORTING RMA-related processes, including hearings and Environment Court proceedings.
  • Contributing to integrated planning solutions and service improvement projects.

Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in planning or a related field.
  • 3+ years' experience as a consents planner in either local government or the private sector (land use and subdivision).
  • Statutory hearing experience and NZPI membership (or eligibility).
