Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Justice Services Assistant to join our team in the Family Court. In this role, you will contribute to the operation of the court by coordinating specialist services and playing a key role in managing relationships with stakeholders.

This position is based at the New Plymouth District Court and is part of the Lower North Island team. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating specialist services
  • Managing relationships with stakeholders
  • Providing administrative support

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
  • Experience in or knowledge of Family Court procedures and legislation
  • Analytical skills to interpret and apply legislation

Skills Required:

  • Ability to juggle competing demands
  • Commitment to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Proficient levels of computer literacy

Working Arrangements: 28 hours per week, flexible working arrangements.
