Playcentre Aotearoa, a leading Early Childhood organisation with over 80 years of experience, is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) Manager to lead and embed a strong safety culture across the organisation.

Job Summary

This senior leadership role will be responsible for ensuring the wellbeing of our people, developing strategic Health, Safety & Wellbeing policies and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of Playcentre Aotearoa's Health, Safety & Wellbeing strategy.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk management, compliance and workplace wellbeing initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop, review, and improve HSW policies, procedures and systems.
  • Oversee incident reporting, investigation processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead a team of HSW Leads and Administrators, fostering a culture of accountability and safety.
  • Promote a positive health, safety and wellbeing culture across all Playcentres.
