Job Description

The Coding Specialist will play a critical role in our team by ensuring accurate and compliant coding practices. This includes:

  • Reviewing clinical documentation to ensure accurate coding and compliance.
  • Collaborating with healthcare providers to resolve coding-related issues.
  • Staying up to date with changes in coding guidelines and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have:

  • A strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
  • Experience in outpatient coding for acute care facilities and/or Trauma Level II cases.
  • Knowledge of electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
