About Us

The Rodney Adult Community Mental Health Team is part of the wider Waitemata District. We provide mental health services across three regions, with our acute team and assertive intervention team based at the Red Beach site.

We work collaboratively with other agencies, including police, to ensure our clients receive the best possible care. This is a great opportunity for clinicians to make a real difference in their community.

About the Role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse with significant mental health experience to join our team on a permanent basis. You will work in a fast-paced environment, providing short-term, intensive, and responsive assessment and treatment to those people who are acutely unwell.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes assertive intervention workers and police officers. Together, we provide comprehensive support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, intensive, and responsive assessment and treatment to clients
  • Work closely with the assertive intervention team and police officers to provide comprehensive support
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet client needs
  • Promote recovery-focused practice and support clients in achieving their goals
