Role Overview:
We have two permanent full-time roles available as key members of the NZ Tax Team for ANZ NZ. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely and efficient NZ tax compliance and tax accounting obligations.
The Tax Compliance and Accounting role will involve reviewing the preparation of tax compliance and accounting across all of ANZ's NZ tax types. You will identify and implement efficiencies in the way ANZ completes its tax compliance and accounting obligations.
The Nga Tapuwae tax role will involve working alongside the Nga Tapuwae programme to ensure ANZ's tax obligations are well-managed across the programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review tax compliance and accounting processes
- Identify and implement efficiency improvements
- Develop tax business requirements for the Nga Tapuwae programme
- Assist with design and completion of testing
- Manage relationships across ANZ's global tax team and various tax authorities
Requirements:
- Strong tax compliance and accounting skills
- Good knowledge of tax law
- Proven ability to build credibility through excellence, customer focus and strong financial and business acumen
