Job Description:

As an Op Shop Assistant, you will be part of our dynamic sales team, working closely with volunteers and other colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sort and price donated items, ensuring they are attractive and saleable
  • Visual merchandising to maximise revenue
  • Process daily cash-ups and banking
  • Maintain the health and safety of all staff and volunteers

 

Requirements:

  • Retail experience, preferably in second-hand retail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • People leadership experience, ideally within the not-for-profit sector with volunteers
  • Self-motivation, teamwork, and a positive attitude
  • Empathy and resilience
  • Strong administration and computer skills
  • Merchandising experience
