Job Description:
As an Op Shop Assistant, you will be part of our dynamic sales team, working closely with volunteers and other colleagues to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort and price donated items, ensuring they are attractive and saleable
- Visual merchandising to maximise revenue
- Process daily cash-ups and banking
- Maintain the health and safety of all staff and volunteers
Requirements:
- Retail experience, preferably in second-hand retail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- People leadership experience, ideally within the not-for-profit sector with volunteers
- Self-motivation, teamwork, and a positive attitude
- Empathy and resilience
- Strong administration and computer skills
- Merchandising experience
