Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing community-based sentences and orders, preparing reports for the Courts and New Zealand Parole Board, and contributing to public safety through the lens of manaaki, positive relationships, and the uplifting of wellbeing of people we manage in the community.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Use principles of manaaki, kaitiaki, wairua, rangatira, and whanau to shape your approach and build strong relationships with individuals and their families
  • Prepare reports for the Courts and New Zealand Parole Board
  • Contribute to public safety by treating those under our management with respect and upholding their mana and dignity

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to relate to people from a range of cultures and backgrounds
  • Full New Zealand Driver Licence and legal right to work in New Zealand without restriction for a minimum of 12 months
