Join us to make a tangible impact and help transform critical data into solutions that drive global safety and efficiency.About the Role:As a System Administrator, your main responsibility is to manage and support the Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) and Server environments for Development, Support, and Project teams at Hexagon.
This vital role ensures business continuity and the effective operation of mission-critical systems.
We seek a reliable and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills to join our dedicated managed-services team.
You will collaborate with other System Administrators and Engineers, receiving guidance and mentorship from more experienced colleagues.
This position is ideal for a collaborative individual who thrives in a dynamic, busy team environment.Main Responsibilities:Monitor and manage all components of Hexagon's CAD systems, including CAD and Mobile Responder.Ensure system availability 24/7 in line with contractual requirements.Maintain the integrity of CAD System data and software consistency across environments.Develop skills for preventative and remedial maintenance of all system components.Build relationships with Hexagon and its customers' management and staff.Proactively implement changes, patches, and configuration updates.Maintain system administration, configuration, and process documentation.Participate in a 24/7 on-call roster with after-hours duties as needed.Maintain supported Windows Server and Desktop systems.About You:5+ years managing Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Networking.Knowledge of Network Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS), Firewalls, and troubleshooting.Experience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.Hands-on IT hardware/software deployment experience.Strong customer service focus and organizational skills.Familiarity with Microsoft SQL or Oracle is a plus.Knowledge of PowerShell or scripting languages is beneficial.Company Benefits:Company Paid Parental LeaveUdemy Access: Free eLearningSouthern Cross Medical InsuranceEngagement Activities: Christmas parties, quarterly events, and monthly morning teasEmployer contributed Social ClubService Awards: Monetary rewards for every 5 years of serviceReward & Recognition Platform: Earn and give recognition and rewardsHexagon is dedicated to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued.
