Food Safety Assurance Specialist

As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our products. Your expertise in quality control and assurance will play a vital role in maintaining our reputation as a market leader in hotplate baked, frozen thaw-back convenience foods.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assessments of our products to ensure they meet our high standards
- Input data into various programs to track and analyze quality metrics
- Perform laboratory testing to identify any potential issues with our products
- Create training modules on electronic platforms to educate staff on quality procedures
- Audit internal processes to ensure compliance with our QHSE policies
- Develop procedures and work instructions to maintain a safe working environment
- Analyze root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Facilitate the workers' health and safety forum to promote a culture of safety
Requirements:
We are looking for an energetic and detail-oriented individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You should have a strong understanding of consumer and customer requirements and be able to relate to a culture of continuous improvement. Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft, and PowerPoint is essential, as well as the ability to establish cross-functional relationships throughout the organization.
