Key Responsibilities:- Employee Management:
- Manage employee standards, benefits programs, and performance processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.
- Support recruitment efforts, including onboarding, orientation, and training, guiding new hires through the process.
- Develop and administer HR plans, procedures, and policies, ensuring legal compliance and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist with strategic HR planning aligned with business goals, monitoring and appraising HR activities to ensure alignment.
- Prepare, update, and recommend HR policies and procedures, handling confidential matters with professionalism and discretion.
- Act as a point of contact for new employee questions and support, participating in recruitment processes.
- Proven experience in human resources, recruitment - ideally 3+ years, with comprehensive knowledge of New Zealand HR legislation & policies.
- Strong organisational and detail-oriented mindset, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
