Transportation Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hard-working Transportation Specialist to join our team at SANDEEP SINGH. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and equipment throughout New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and trailers, to transport goods and equipment
- Load and unload goods and equipment, ensuring safe and efficient handling
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including inventory tracking and delivery confirmations
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in a driving role or hold a minimum of Level 2 qualification in driving or higher
- Valid Class 2 driving license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission
- Available for weekends
- Customer-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Good fitness level
- Accountability for health and safety
- Clean character background
Working Conditions:
- Work will be performed in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
- May be required to work in varying weather conditions
- May be required to lift heavy objects repeatedly

Hours of Work: Monday – Sunday with rostered shifts
Wage Rate: $30 to $32 per hour
Hours of Work: Minimum 30 hours to Maximum 40 hours
Job Responsibilities:
- Require lifting heavy objects repeatedly
- Assist in physical task loading and unloading furniture and belongings (residential and commercial) onto the truck.
- Responsible to move furniture and items from one location to another, safely and without damaging it.
- Assist in wrapping the furniture in protective material and use caution while loading, unloading, and driving it.
- Safely transport items to the designated locations
- Your job will also require you to maintain an inventory that tracks all of the items that you're moving for a customer.
- Follow instructions provided by the team leader or supervisor
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment

· Have at least 1 years of work experience in driving role or hold minimum of Level 2 qualification in driving or higher.
· Should have valid Class 2 driving license and able to drive automatic and manual transmission
· Should have available for weekends
