About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant to lead our finance team as a Group Accountant. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership, drive improvements in financial controls and systems, and contribute to the strategic direction of the finance team.

As a Group Accountant, you'll oversee monthly and annual accounting processes, prepare high-level financial reports, and strengthen internal controls to safeguard financial data integrity. You'll also mentor and develop the finance team to achieve outstanding performance.

About You

We're looking for a high performer who thrives in a dynamic environment. You'll bring:

  • 4+ years post-qualification experience in medium to large commercial organisations.
  • A background in financial systems, controls, and audits within larger organisations.
  • Knowledge of taxation across NZ, UK, and Australia (preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and coach a small team with empathy and confidence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
