We are seeking an experienced and dedicated veterinarian to join our team at SPCA Auckland.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, where you will have the chance to utilize your clinical skills and make a real difference to New Zealand's animals.

As a veterinary specialist, you will work closely with a veterinary nurse to provide high-quality veterinary care for animals presented to, and under the care of SPCA Auckland.

You will run our small veterinary clinic within the Dunedin Centre, working unsupervised but with collegial and professional support from our Head Vet when required.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a busy and interesting case load, while working in a tight-knit passionate team.

This role provides both a unique personal challenge and satisfaction in the knowledge that you will make a real difference to the animals of New Zealand.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced veterinarian to join our team at SPCA Auckland.

This is a challenging and rewarding role, where you will have the opportunity to utilize your clinical skills in a shelter environment and make a real difference to New Zealand's animals.

As a veterinarian, you will work closely with a veterinary nurse to provide high-quality veterinary care for animals presented to, and under the care of SPCA Auckland.

You will run our small veterinary clinic within the Dunedin Centre, working independently but with support from our Head Vet as needed.

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing workloads effectively.

This role provides a unique opportunity for professional growth and development, as well as a sense of purpose and fulfillment through contributing to animal welfare.
