The Role
We're seeking an experienced Clinical Operations Manager to lead our Allied Health Unit, Older Persons Health, and Inpatient and Community Rehabilitation services at Dunedin Hospital and Wakari Hospital. As a key member of our leadership team, you'll be responsible for strategic planning, service delivery, and workforce management.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective service delivery strategies to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality patient care
  • Lead and manage assigned services, including budgeting, human resource management, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational staff to drive strategic and operational goals
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, and community partners

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in healthcare or a related field
  • Proven experience in managing budgets and staff, with a track record of successful service delivery
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and cultural competence
