Job Description:
This full-time role as a physiotherapist in haematology involves working closely with patients undergoing stem cell transplants within the inpatient setting. You will provide comprehensive, evidence-based care, conduct exercise classes, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality physiotherapy services to haematology patients.
  • Develop and lead exercise programs for patients.
  • Contribute to quality improvement projects within the haematology service.
  • Collaborate with professional groups in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend rosters.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • New Zealand registration as a physiotherapist with an Annual Practicing Certificate.
  • A minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Flexibility, proactive approach, and experience supporting staff and students.
  • Excellent clinical reasoning skills and evidence-informed practice.
  • Ability to establish and develop working relationships within the multidisciplinary team.
  • Effective time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and provision of culturally safe care.
