A rewarding opportunity has arisen in the field of Radiation Oncology at Auckland City Hospital, a well-established internationally recognised cancer centre dedicated to being a leader in healthcare delivery, research and education.

The Opportunity

As a key member of our team, you will be involved in increasing research opportunities across all aspects of patient care. We strive to provide the best care possible, reflecting our commitment to excellence.

You will work closely with the University of Auckland, one of the largest teaching hospitals in New Zealand, delivering care to patients with a wide variety of malignancies. Our emphasis is on evidence-based medicine and the importance of multi-disciplinary teams.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Overseeing trial patients, their treatments, and protocol specified reviews
  • Developing individual research projects, contributing to the departmental educational program, journal clubs, regional tumour-specific multidisciplinary meetings and radiation treatment chart rounds

There will be opportunities to attend local and international conferences, enhancing your professional development and networking skills. This is a full-time fixed term position for 12 months starting in March 2025, but there is also the opportunity to start earlier or later.
