The Role
You will be responsible for leading a team to maintain, repair, and renew railway structures. You'll ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards, while also supporting the professional growth of your team.
- Main Responsibilities
- Supervise and Participate in the maintenance and repair of railway structures
- Ensure Work is Planned and executed efficiently
- Taking Immediate Action to address defects or hazards
- Maintain Accurate Records and documentation
- Support Compliance Reporting by providing data and reports
- Promote a Strong Safety Culture and ensure all work follows KiwiRail's safety standards
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Leadership Skills
- Experience supervising a team in a maintenance or construction environment
- Civil Maintenance experience, including drainage, culvert cleaning, and replacement
- Rail Infrastructure knowledge, including codes and standards
- Health and Safety commitment, with the ability to lead by example
- Communication Skills
