About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Department of Conservation as a Heritage Site Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining historical pa sites, tracks, and amenity areas across Auckland's diverse landscapes. Your work will focus on ensuring our conservation sites are safe and accessible for visitors and that our heritage sites are preserved for future generations.

Your Key Responsibilities
You will undertake tasks for the heritage and visitor programmes, including carrying out repairs and maintenance of tracks in both front and back country locations. You will also contribute to the successful delivery of projects, work with volunteers and community groups, and participate in safety briefings to ensure your own safety and the safety of your teammates.
