Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiologist to join our team at Queenstown Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting medical images and developing accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop effective treatment plans
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
  • Working effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical expertise in radiology
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

Requirements

  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Radiologists (FellFRACP) or equivalent qualification
  • Current vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Experience working in a hospital setting, preferably in radiology
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
