Job Details

We are looking for doctors with experience/and or an interest in addictions to work in our service. The successful applicant/s will be part of a team comprising 12 psychiatrists within the broader service and will have the support of a range of professionals including nursing, counsellors, psychology within the Addiction service.

Service Overview

The Taranaki District Mental Health & Addiction Services provides a wide range of specialist services within the Taranaki region. This includes five distinct services: Acute Services, Adult Mental health, Child and Adolescent mental health services, Mental health services for Older people, and Addiction Services.

Requirements:

  • Doctors with experience and/or an interest in addictions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
