About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Life Skills Coach to join our team at the Salvation Army Taranaki Bridge Centre. As a Mental Health Life Skills Coach, you will work closely with individuals to develop and implement personalised recovery plans, focusing on improving life skills, relationships, and daily activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement tailored recovery plans with individuals accessing our residential programme.
  • Provide holistic support to individuals, addressing mental health and addiction concerns.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new programmes and services.

You Will Be Successful If:

  • You have a strong understanding of mental health and addiction issues.
  • You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You are able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • You are flexible and able to work varied shifts, including weekends.
