Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for a Addiction Treatment Specialist to join our team at Taranaki Base Hospital. As an Opiate Substitution Treatment (OST) Case Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting whai ora (people engaged in the OST programme) to achieve their goals for opioid addiction recovery. Your clinical expertise will enable you to assess opioid addiction, formulate recovery plans, and provide specialist advice and education.
Key Requirements:
- At least two years' experience in acute and/or community-based mental health & addiction services
- Strong addictions experience and knowledge
- Excellent clinical knowledge base and adept ability to provide psychoeducation
