Mechanical Components Specialist

Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Fluidic Components Engineer to join our in-space propulsion team. This role requires expertise in mechanical design, fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and test engineering. You will be responsible for developing and refining mechanical and fluidic components for satellite propulsion systems.
Main Responsibilities- Component Development: Design, develop, and refine mechanical and fluidic components for satellite propulsion systems.
- Testing & Validation: Lead requirement verification through fluid modeling, data analysis, and component qualification.
- Production Support: Ensure smooth transition from design to manufacturing and assembly.
- Test Infrastructure: Design and implement testing jigs and methodologies for R&D and production.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Chemical, or Aerospace Engineering (or equivalent industry experience).
- Proficiency in CAD (preferably SolidWorks) for design and manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of design for manufacture principles.
- Hands-on experience with testing for requirement verification.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively across teams.
