Precision Mechanical Systems Engineer

Job Description:
This is a contract role for a Senior Mechanical Design Expert to join our team in Oxford District, United Kingdom. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-precision mechanical components and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop precision mechanical parts and assemblies using CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred).
- Perform mechanical and thermal analysis (e.g., via FEA) to validate designs.
- Create and iterate on conceptual ideas and prototypes.
- Conduct hands-on testing and make real-time design improvements.
- Collaborate closely with electrical, software, and systems engineers.

This is a highly collaborative role that requires strong mechanical insight, practical design skills, and a proactive approach to rapid development cycles. You will be working alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists to design and develop high-precision mechanical components and systems.
Requirements:
- Solid background in Mechanical Design & Analysis, ideally with SolidWorks and FEA tools like ANSYS.
- Precision Engineering experience in scientific equipment, aerospace, or high-end manufacturing.
