About the Role
The Supply Chain Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of goods and services within our organisation. This involves managing inventory levels, conducting periodic stock audits, and analysing supply chain data to forecast stock availability. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory requirements, with experience in managing intercompany and distributor order requests.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate logistics processes to ensure timely order fulfilment and efficient inventory management
- Manage intercompany and distributor order requests, ensuring accurate processing and communication
- Facilitate customs clearance and inspections, resolving escalations and ensuring compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock audits and analysis
- Provide strategic insights on supply chain data to inform management decision-making
Requirements
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain/logistics planning in an MNC setting
- Strong knowledge of logistics, customs clearance, and regulatory requirements
- Proficient in MS Office and order management systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
