**Role Description:**

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Gisborne Hospital. As a Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapist, you will be responsible for providing occupational/physiotherapy services in a transdisciplinary setting for the Child Development Service.

The successful candidate will have a Degree in Occupational or Physiotherapy, hold a current full driver's license, and possess experience working with children with disabilities. They will also demonstrate strong communication skills, both oral and written, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and managing children who are at risk of, suspected of having or have confirmed disabilities referred for diagnostic assessment.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal outcomes for children.
  • Collaborating with a transdisciplinary team to provide support and services to children and their families.
