**Key Responsibilities:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Gisborne Hospital. As a Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing occupational/physiotherapy services in a transdisciplinary setting for the Child Development Service.

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in Occupational or Physiotherapy, hold a current full driver's license, and possess experience working with children with disabilities. Strong communication skills, both oral and written, are essential for this role, as you will work closely with clients, adolescents, parents, and healthcare professionals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assessment and ongoing management of children with multiple challenges related to communication, sensory, learning, physical, and behavioral aspects of their development.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to promote optimal outcomes for children.
  • Collaborating with a transdisciplinary team to provide support and services to children and their families.
