About the Role
Our Wellington-based finance team is seeking a skilled law clerk to join us in an exciting and challenging role. This position will suit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who enjoys cultivating strong working relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
We are a three-partner team offering the opportunity to act for a wide range of high-profile clients across various sectors, including banks, funds, developers, corporate borrowers, local authorities, and key public sector entities. Our team is currently working on some intriguing infrastructure projects, such as public private partnerships and energy sector initiatives. We welcome candidates with experience in infrastructure, procurement, contracting, or financing.
The work in our team encompasses the full spectrum of transactional and advisory issues, including project/construction finance, acquisition finance, and infrastructure funding. Some examples of our recent projects include:
- Project financing of renewable energy projects
- Infrastructure Funding and Financing Act advice to councils
- Bond offerings for Christchurch Airport and Wellington Airport
- Sell-downs of PPP transactions
- Significant projects in the energy sector for Aotearoa
In this role, you will have the opportunity to take initiative, showcase your skills, and work closely with a close-knit team that provides strong support and guidance.
