About the CVICU Team
Our team of critical care nurses is dedicated to providing expert patient care to critically ill patients requiring cardiovascular surgery and other complex medical treatments. We are passionate about delivering exceptional patient outcomes and promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients requiring cardiovascular surgery and other complex medical treatments.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised care plans.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient condition and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Participate in educational activities to enhance professional development and knowledge.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council.
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in an ICU/HDU or acute surgical/medical area.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
