About the Team
You will be joining a small, dynamic team that is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. Our team is known for its camaraderie and shared commitment to excellence. As a Rural Hospital Medicine Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work closely with other medical professionals, including nurses, medical students, and junior resident doctors. Together, you will provide 24/7 medical cover to a population of approximately 41,000.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in general medicine and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, using your problem-solving skills to diagnose and treat complex medical conditions. Additionally, you will need to be within 3 months of obtaining your Rural Hospital Medicine qualification or hold/be eligible for Specialist Vocational registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
