Reporting to a People & Culture Business Partner, you will provide day-to-day support and advice across a range of people related matters within your portfolio(s) and enable our manager-led approach.As a generalist advisor, you'll build effective relationships with our kaimahi and leadership and successfully deliver people initiatives through building leadership capability.
You will work closely with the wider People & Culture team to support the design and implementation of people related projects, initiatives, programmes, policies, systems and processes.On any one day, you could be advising on a wide variety of people matters, including employment relations, change processes, performance management and development, remuneration and supporting wellbeing initiatives.
No two days are ever the sameThis role would suit someone who can bring:Experience in a People & Culture generalist/advisory role including dealing with ER issues and change.Sound knowledge of NZ employment legislation and HR 'best practice'.Strong communication skills that can foster strong working relationships and can be adapted to any audience.A strong understanding of what good customer and service delivery looks like including being proactive and undertaking a value-add approach.A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner, including understanding the relevance within your role and uplifting your capability throughout your work.A commitment to supporting diversity, equity and inclusion within your work and across the organisation.We understand transferable skills can come from experience gained from outside of work.
