We are seeking a dedicated Care Home Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Cantabria Lifecare & Village. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with general maintenance tasks, carrying out repairs, and ensuring the facilities are well-maintained.

The successful candidate will have experience in general maintenance, including painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry. A strong work ethic, good communication skills, and ability to work independently are essential for this position.

About Our Role:
  • Permanent Full-time role
  • Flexible shift arrangements, including AMs', PM's and weekend's shifts

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents. As a Care Home Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the overall maintenance and upkeep of the care home, including preventative measures, gardening, building repairs, and exterior maintenance.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with general maintenance, painting, plumbing, and minor carpentry is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
  • Good communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • A genuine love for helping people, with excellent customer service skills, and a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Experience delivering to a quality standard.
  • A full clean driver's license.
