Mō te tūranga / About the role Health New Zealand Lakes is seeking a Palliative Care Physician with a passion for improving the quality of life for their patients through Palliative Medicine.
The role requires you to work across a range of acute inpatient services and ambulatory services including clinics, hospice, and patients' homes.
Mō koe / About you The ideal candidate for this role will have an interest in further developing specialist services to meet the needs of a rapidly growing and culturally diverse population.
Therefore, it is essential to have capability in delivering specialist services:to people and whānau who are experiencing a life-limiting condition.
Experience in the acute hospital setting.
A focus on equitable services and health outcomes.
Actively participate in the education and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing staff.
