About the Opportunity

Job Description

This is a great opportunity to work as a Health Care Assistant in Intensive and Coronary Care at Rotorua Hospital. The role involves all general aspects of healthcare worker duties in the inpatient setting, including clinical care, equipment maintenance, and stock ordering.

Main Responsibilities
  • Clinical care
  • Equipment maintenance
  • Stock ordering

The job also focuses on providing care as a care companion, sometimes one-on-one carer. The rostering for this position is across Day and Evening shifts 7 days a week and may progress to nights in the future.
