Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Global Logistics Business Development Manager to join our team at Global Executive Solutions Group.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Securing and managing new customer business in air, ocean, warehousing/distribution, trucking & 3PL services within the high tech / semiconductor vertical.
- Achieving revenue targets by securing business with new global customers and selling additional services to current global customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing strong C-Level relationships with target customers.
- Providing expertise in the assigned vertical to share with other members of our team.
Requirements:
- Significant sales experience within the freight forwarding / logistics sector (7+ yrs).
- Multiple existing client relationships within the high tech / semiconductor vertical.
- Demonstrated track record of sales success.
- Complex supply chain solutions including transportation, warehousing, distribution & reverse logistics.
- Knowledge of major trade lanes (Asia-pacific, trans-Atlantic, India).
- Strong negotiation skills – ability to negotiate global contracts & processes.
- Ability to travel within assigned territory 40%.
- Computer literate: Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent marketing, business administration or economics.
