Job Summary:

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers at large national and regional users of final mile transportation services. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in outside sales, a strong understanding of carrier economics, and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to secure new business from large national and regional users of final mile transportation services
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at premier organizations
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and communicate this knowledge to management and colleagues
  • Collaborate with management to review weekly/monthly sales activities and prospective customer opportunities
  • Use CRM and sales automation applications to manage customer relationships and sales pipeline

Essential Skills:

  • Proven outside sales success (10 years)
  • Strong presentation and closing skills
  • Excellent communications (verbal & written) at all levels
  • Team player – Collaborative
  • Adaptable and Flexible
