Healthcare Operations Specialist

MidCentral DHB is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Professional Administrator to join our team in Ward 21 Acute Inpatient Services. This is a full-time, permanent role.
As a key member of our administration team, you will provide high-quality administrative support to our leaders and services. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively connect and collaborate with senior leaders, external partners, and frontline employees.
You will have the opportunity to lead and support the effective delivery of projects and initiatives alongside the Administration Lead and Locality Service Managers. You will work with a diverse and talented team serving our community and clinical services for people experiencing mental health and addiction events.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in an administration team environment.
- Excellent computer literacy, particularly Windows, Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Proven communication skills and the ability to connect and collaborate at all levels.
- Excellent word processing skills with a strong command of English, including grammar and spelling.
- To be a team player, have a good sense of humour, be enthusiastic, and have a can-do attitude.
