Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Material Handling Equipment Specialist to join our team based in Hamilton and servicing the North Island. As a key member of our team, you will perform pre-delivery inspections and maintenance/repairs on a large fleet of forklifts. Our diverse range of mechanical battery electric and internal combustion forklifts presents an exciting opportunity for skill development and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs on mechanical battery electric and internal combustion forklift trucks in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Pre-delivery inspection of all new forklifts across battery electric and internal combustion powered models.
  • Service and repair customer-owned forklifts in line with OEM guidelines.
  • Prepare rental forklifts according to company service and maintenance standards.

Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of three years' experience in material handling equipment or relevant trade qualifications such as auto electrical, diesel, or motor mechanic. A customer-centric attitude, combined with excellent communication skills, will enable you to deliver outstanding service to our valued customers.

Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate ($30-$40 per hour), dependent on experience, and a guaranteed minimum of 40 hours per week. The option to work additional hours at time-and-a-half is also available.
