Main Responsibilities

We're seeking an empathetic and experienced Counsellor for a fulfilling opportunity, giving you the tools you need to support people the way they deserve to be taken care of – the Habit Health way.

  • Deliver focused interventions so that clients can develop coping mechanisms at work and life
  • Visit worksites to provide support after an event disruption
  • Deliver counselling services via in-person, video and telehealth
  • Deliver training to customer employees

The Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone with:

  • A strong sense of others – we're looking for sensitivity and empathy as traits
  • Current APC with NZAC, DAPAANZ, SWRB or NZCCATertiary level 7 Counselling or related qualification
  • Experience in the following areas is desirable: psychological first aid, couples counselling and working with children and teenagers
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapy models e.g. SFT, CBT, FACT is desirable
