We are seeking a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join our team at Presbyterian Support Northern, where you will play a critical role in supporting individuals and families affected by family violence. As a key member of our team, you will work collaboratively with clients to develop and implement tailored plans to ensure their safety and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the causes and dynamics of intimate partner violence, as well as knowledge of local social systems and community resources. They will be committed to developing and maintaining strong networks in the community, ensuring that clients receive the support they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities will include working from our central Auckland office, refuges, and in the community on a day-to-day basis. This may involve providing direct support to clients, collaborating with other agencies, and contributing to ongoing professional development and supervision.

To succeed in this role, you will require excellent time-management skills, ability to manage competing demands, and resilience, tenacity, and determination. You will also be digitally literate, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and able to contribute to an on-call roster and work outside of hours from time to time.
