Job Overview
This role involves efficient planning, scheduling, and proactive parts acquisition for all Heavy Mobile plant and Ancillary equipment maintained by the Underground Maintenance Department.
The successful candidate will report to the Underground Maintenance Superintendent and work closely with the maintenance team, operations, and other stakeholders to ensure resources, materials, and schedules align with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and managing short- and long-term plans to ensure maintenance activities align with mining production plans
- Collaborating with the maintenance team, operations, and other stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and minimize downtime
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety Programs and company policies
- Analyzing maintenance data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Managing relationships with contractors and internal departments to ensure timely completion of work orders
