Aquaheat New Zealand Limited (Aquaheat) is owned and operated with deep roots throughout the New Zealand business community dating back to the 1950's.As the largest HVAC Mechanical company in New Zealand, Aquaheat specialise in the supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC Mechanical services with our clients made up from a broad range of sectors including public health, government departments, education facilities, as well as many of New Zealand's leading blue-chip corporations, large commercial organisations, and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.Due to winning several medium to large projects in the Dunedin region we are looking to employ a HVAC Mechanical Foreman as part of our local team in Dunedin.Reporting to the Operations Manager & Day to Day Project Manager, you will be responsible for:Providing quality HVAC Mechanical installations to all our clients with all contractual obligations being achieved.Work with the Project Manager in the day-to-day management and support the financial success of the projects you are working on.Lead by example, through effective and motivated leadership, the HVAC Mechanical site installation team made up of pipe fitters, duct erectors, fitters, welders, apprentices, trade assistants and specialist subcontractors.Provide focus and support to ensure the HVAC Mechanical site installation team provide a consistent, high quality, professional and efficient service to all our head contractors/clients, ensuring highest levels of work and service quality, legislative compliance, and adherence to company and head contractor/client OH&S needs.Build excellent business relationships with head contractors/ clients and all relevant parties to meet and exceed their expectations.Positively contribute to the successful operation of the project, championing ideas and initiatives when required/requested.To be successful a candidate will require the following qualifications and experience:HAVC Mechanical background with an understanding of design and/or construction skills.Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience in the HVAC Mechanical industry preferable with a HVAC Mechanical background in an installation environment.5 years post trade experience.Proven experience in supervising an HVAC Mechanical installation team (pipe fitters & duct erectors) with a passion for delivering high quality customer satisfaction at all times.People management expertise with the ability to lead, coordinate, motivate and develop mechanical trade staff to create an efficient workforce.Knowledge of building and service regulations and statutory obligations.Ability to schedule work, provide HVAC Mechanical technical expertise and support staff where required to resolve issues that arise in a busy installation operation.Valid NZ Drivers LicenseWe are looking for an experienced HVAC Mechanical Foreman who has a genuine belief in providing excellent customer service, is highly motivated with a "can do" attitude.Aquaheat as part of the Horizon Energy Group takes pride in its commitment to the health and safety of all its stakeholders.
