Hammerhand

We are looking for Hammerhands to join our team and assist our Plasterboard Fixers and Stoppers. We have multiple permanent full time positions available. A Minimum of 30 hours a week and a maximum of 45 hours a week, Monday to Friday and some Saturdays if needed.
- You will need to have experience working on building sites as a labourer
- Be competent, disciplined and hardworking
- Work well in a team environment
- Must be able to follow instruction

You will be required to work as part of a team and follow instruction from the Foreman on site as well as be able to manage yourself when having to work alone.

Job Description as below:

- Follows direction from Site Foreman and works cohesively in the team.
- Able to work independently where required.
- Loading and unloading Interior Plaster materials
- Measuring, marking and cutting plasterboard, lifting and positioning panels, and securing them to walls, ceilings and battens
- Assisting in the preparation of corner beads and securing them in position
- Assisting with fixing pre-cast cornices, panel mouldings, ceiling centres and other plaster fittings

Pay will be dependant on experience ranging from $25 per hour to $33.00 per hour.
