A great fixed-term opportunity is available to join a fast-paced, dynamic, and supportive team as our Accounts Receivable Officer.
This role will be primarily responsible for providing a quality service in the finance team.
This includes dealing with customer enquiries, invoice processing, debtor maintenance, and debt management.
Key responsibilities in this role include: Processing invoices and credit notes for various Council divisionsSetting up new accounts and generating monthly statementsResponding to customer enquiries in a timely mannerEnsuring that the recovery of outstanding debt is achieved in terms of current policy and practiceTo be considered for this role we are ideally looking for: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Initiative and team player attitudeAdvanced skills in Microsoft OfficeA passion for continuous improvement to drive positive change with systems and processes.Working with the Upper Hutt City Council is a rewarding way to support the community and work with a great team.
