This is your chance to join a dynamic team that's transforming lives in the mental health and wellbeing sectorAbout the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turangaAs a Recovery Facilitator, you'll play a key role in empowering tangata whaiora (people in our care) to achieve their goals and transition to greater independence.
Using a strengths-based, holistic approach, you'll support whaiora to build on their existing skills and resources, working collaboratively with whanau, clinical teams, and community services.A permanent, full-time role available in our 24-hour rostered Residential Service in Tarankai.
Work hours will be 10-hour shifts, 7am-5:30pm, 11am-9:30pm or 9:00pm-7am and so will include weekends.Key Responsibilities:Build respectful, collaborative relationships with whaiora to support their personal goals.Manage a caseload, providing tailored support for mental health, personal care, and independence.Partner with Te Whatu Ora, government agencies, housing providers, and community services to deliver wraparound care.Advocate for equitable outcomes for Maori, honoring Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all aspects of your work.A commitment to making a difference in mental health and addiction services.National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work (Level 4) or willingness to complete this within your first year.Previous experience working in mental health or addiction services.Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and clear boundaries.A full NZ driver's license and a clean Police record.At Explore Mental Health, we're committed to fostering a workplace that reflects and celebrates the diversity of our communities.
