**About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga**
As a **Recovery Facilitator**, you'll play a key role in empowering **tangata whaiora** (people in our care) to achieve their goals and transition to greater independence. Using a strengths-based, holistic approach, you'll support whaiora to build on their existing skills and resources, working collaboratively with whānau, clinical teams, and community services.

A permanent, full time role available in our 24-hour rostered Residential Service in Tarankai. Work hours will be 10-hour shifts, 7am-5:30pm, 11am-9:30pm or 9:00pm-7am and so will include weekends.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Build respectful, collaborative relationships with whaiora to support their personal goals.
- Manage a caseload, providing tailored support for mental health, personal care, and independence.
- Partner with Te Whatu Ora, government agencies, housing providers, and community services to deliver wraparound care.
- Advocate for equitable outcomes for Māori, honoring Te Tiriti o Waitangi in all aspects of your work.

**What We're Looking For | Ngā pūkenga kei a koe**
- A commitment to making a difference in mental health and addiction services.
- National Certificate in Mental Health Support Work (Level 4) or willingness to complete this within your first year.
- Previous experience working in mental health or addiction services.
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and clear boundaries.
- A full NZ driver's license and a clean Police record.
