Reporting to the Head of Procurement and Property, this sole charge role as Senior Procurement Specialist plans, leads and advises the business on procurement processes ensuring transparency and integrity through competitive market processes, resulting in scaled cost benefits through oversight of strategic vendor selection, analysis, and robust evaluation processes. This will include accurate and reliable commercial and strategic advice to the business, noting that there's a variety of contracts from simple to complex and even multi-year negotiations. This role is also accountable for the contractual relationship with Airways' key vendors.About You:To be successful in the role, you will have:Relevant tertiary qualification in a business-related field.Professional membership or qualifications relative to this senior position.3+ years' experience in a senior procurement role gained in a large complex working environment, including large value, multi-year procurements.Strong analytical and MS Excel skills, knowledge and understanding of procurement and property systems and processes.Strong knowledge of the government procurement rules.Ability to work in a dynamic business environment, influence and collaborate with people internally and externally, show resilience and agility, take ownership and focus on delivering successful business outcomes.To Apply:We think Airways is a great place to work, with an international reputation for innovation and success.
