About our work:
You'll be working on a wide variety of interesting projects in this "on the tools" Foreman role:

Maintain overview of works forecasted for Aimex and your team, and ensure all parties are fully cognisant of outlook. Highlight gaps and support solutions.
Coordinate daily tasks and resourcing according to priorities and project schedules, ensuring all work is delivered to best practice, regulatory and safety needs.
Direct, supervise and troubleshoot routine issues.
Order and maintain proper levels of materials, tools and equipment needed for job tasks.
Lead a culture of accountability, performance and continuous improvement within the team.
Provide on-the-job training and guidance to team members to promote skill development and success.
Build strong customer relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication with customers, explaining complex or technical information clearly.
Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

About you:
We need you to have:

Trades qualified with strong mechanical fitting experience, with marine experience being an advantage.
Exposure and understanding of project management concepts.
Pride in your work and willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch.
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Excellent communication skills to engage at all levels and build sustainable relationships with our diverse teams; your felt leadership skills will naturally bring others along the journey.
Highly organized and able to deal with conflicting priorities and work under pressure.
Champion of health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.
Good computer literacy and experience working with systems, including Microsoft Office 365.
Physical stamina and agility to work in a marine environment.
A clean full NZ driver's license.
